Kristen Stewart Holds Hands With Alicia Cargile at Cannes

Kristen Stewart seems to have found love in the French Riviera, but not with her recent flame, Soko. The Café Society star was spotted holding hands with ex-girlfriend Alicia Cargile as they left a screening of American Honey at the Cannes Film Festival Monday.
The 26-year-old actress and Cargile were also spotted holding hands on the red carpet at the American Honey premiere one day earlier. Ever the dutiful girlfriend, Cargile even carried Stewart’s change of shoes for later.

Stewart and Cargile, a visual effects producer, dated on and off for several months but were rumored to have broken up in the fall of 2015. The Chanel muse was then spotted getting affectionate with French singer-songwriter Stephanie “Soko” Sokolinski, 30, in March. Us Weekly reported earlier this month that they had split.
While Stewart is fiercely private, Soko didn’t handle her breakup quite as quietly on social media.

“CHEATER. F***ing CHEATER,” Soko reportedly tweeted and deleted. She also posted a lengthy message on Instagram (before deleting that one too) writing that she will “marry the strongest and most reliable of them all, one that doesn’t cheat, one that isn’t deceitful… and knows how to live a good, healthy and simple life.”

Stewart was photographed with Cargile in Los Feliz, Calif., around the time the messages were posted.
So has the drama caught up with Stewart in France? While she seems to be happy and carefree hitting the town with Cargile, it just so happens that Soko is at the festival as well. No word yet on whether the three have crossed paths.

While Stewart has refused to label her sexuality, she certainly isn’t hiding her relationship.
“Me not defining it right now is the whole basis of what I’m about,” she told Variety last week. “If you don’t get it, I don’t have time for you. There’s acceptance that’s become really rampant and cool. … You don’t have to immediately know how to define yourself.”
We can define Stewart as looking pretty happy during her trip to Cannes!
