Kristal Tin is happy for fellow former ATV colleagues

12 Dec – Although she has been nominated in the TVB Anniversary Awards' Best Actress category, actress Kristal Tin shared that she is more excited about seeing fellow former ATV stars being nominated as well.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who attended the TVB banquet where they announced the nominations, shared that she was happy when Nina Paw's and Elena Kong's names were called as two of the nominees of the Best Actress category.

"It's going to be fun," she said.

When asked if she did help them to get nominated, Kristal dismissed it, saying that great actors don't need help to get recognised.

"The most important thing is to show your passion for acting, and the audience will see it in your performance," she said.

When asked to pick which actress she thinks did well, Kristal responded with a smile, "Me. My role in "Destination Nowhere" was the most unforgettable role in my career. It was so challenging for me, and I needed to take some time to pull away from the character. I can't help but pat myself in the back a little."

Kristal is nominated for the role in the aforementioned drama, Nina for "The Unholy Alliance", and Elena is nominated for "Tiger Mom Blues". The latter is also nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in "The Unholy Alliance".
