Kristal Tin dedicates new song to her late mother
9 May – TVB actress-singer Kristal Tin recently admitted that her new song, "The Most Loved" is dedicated specially to her late mother.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who released the music video for the said song shared that she was really affected by the lyrics of the song when she recorded it.
"The song is for [my mother]. She had given me a lot of things throughout her life until the end. She helped me grow and mature. The luckiest thing that ever happened to me is that I was able to learn and understand more about her before she died," she said.
She added that while a mother's love to her child is unconditional, she used to take her mother's love for her for granted.
"I really didn't know how to cherish it," she said.
Asked if such unconditional love is the reason why she is afraid to have a child of her own, Kristal responded, "It's not that I am afraid. I am not as great as my mother. I am selfish. I don't feel like being a mother for now."
She also admitted that her husband, actor-director Chapman To is not ready for it as well.
"He still needs some time to grow up. You can be old but still immature," she added.
