Kris Bernal temporarily closes House of Gogi in Banawe
15 Jul – With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, Kris Bernal recently revealed that she has decided to temporarily close her Korean barbecue restaurant in Banawe.
The actress shared the news on her Instagram account late last week, admitting that "2020 is not a year to make profit" but a year just to just stay alive.
"Thank you so much for the overwhelming support for [House of Gogi], especially during the past few months. While our goal is to serve you the best Korean dishes, our staff's safety is our top priority right now. The increasing number of positive cases is alarming, and we should do our best to prevent the spread of the virus. Hence, we'll be temporarily closing [House of Gogi Banawe] until further notice," she wrote.
She also thanked her fianće Perry Choi for helping her through all the tough times.
"I love you so much. Our hearts and our prayers go out to those businesses that are struggling right now," she added.
