21 Apr - Kris Aquino recently shared that she has signed with East West Artists, a talent management company based in Los Angeles.
The actress, who announced the good news on 18 April after announcing she will star in a Hollywood movie, shared a photo from her contract signing with her agent Chris Lee.
"My entertainment career will be under the direct supervision of one of their partners," wrote Aquino.
She later posted another update that she will now work in silence, adding, "Obeying the request of [agent Chris Lee], believing in the wisdom of [PR Manager Nicko Falcis], and for the peaceful hearts of my sisters."
She added the hashtag "Challenge Accepted".
While Aquino is keeping mum about her new project, many are speculating that she has been cast in Warner Bros.' "Crazy Rich Asians", an upcoming movie adaptation of Kevin Kwan's bestselling novel of the same name.
Aquino has been seen reading the advance reading copy of Kwan's new book "Rich People Problems" and recently expressed her excitement at being followed by the writer on Instagram.
Last week, she also shared her vacation reading materials, including three of Kwan's books, saying, "I re-read [Kevin Kwan's "Crazy Rich Asians" and "China Rich Girlfriend"] to refresh my memory before diving into the world of "Rich People Problems" - what an awesome, thoroughly researched trilogy..."
