Kris Aquino and Nicko Falcis settle financial issues
17 Oct – Kris Aquino and her former business manager Nicko Falcis have ended their conflict once and for all.
As reported on PEP, the news was shared by Aquino's legal rep at Bernas Law Offices via an official statement, which read, "Ms. Kristina Bernadette C. Aquino, Mr. Nicardo M. Falcis II and Atty. Jesus Nicardo M. Facis III have fairly settled all financial issues and amicably worked out all personal differences."
"To avoid any future misunderstanding, no further statement shall be forthcoming."
Following the release of the statement, Aquino took to social media and wrote, "LEARN from YESTERDAY... LIKE TODAY... but above all, make sure to LOVE TOMORROW."
"To permanently leave this chapter behind, and embrace all that lies ahead for me, comments for this post shall be turned off. You are FREE to discuss the statement from DivinaLaw, just not on my feed," she added.
The conflict between Aquino and Falcis sparked in late 2018, when the actress filed a qualified theft complaint against her said business manager in seven cities, claiming that he had been misusing the corporate card she gave him as managing director of her production company, Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions (KCAP). She later filed a cyber libel case against Falcis' younger brother Jesus.
Falcis retaliated by filing grave threats case against the actress in January 2019, alleging she made death threats against him.
