Kris Aquino to Nicko Falcis: You know the threat was a bluff!
22 Jan – In the latest development surrounding Kris Aquino's conflict with former business partner Nicko Falcis, the actress recently admitted that the voice heard in a threatening call to the latter was indeed hers.
As reported on Rappler, the actress, who recently took to Instagram to explain herself, shared that Falcis - of all people - should know that there was no malice intended in that phone call made in September last year, where she threatened to kill him and his family.
Aquino stated that there is no way she would be able to use any connection to make any good on her threats, as she had only seen her brother, former president Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino once in the last nine months and that her "meek and mild" sisters wouldn't have been able to cause anybody any harm.
"You and I know that was a bluff provoked by anger [and] fear because of my awful health diagnosis. [...] I know I should be repentant, but it's hard when he's a magna cum laude who knows my life inside out. So I know he knew his level of guilt and my inability to make good on my "threat"," Aquino stated.
"Sadly, this has been one badly orchestrated demolition job being funded by personalities out for political revenge," she added.
In the recording of the threat, which was released recently, a woman can be heard saying, "Don't return to the Philippines, do you hear me? My family will have you killed. You know what's wrong with me? I have lupus, Nicko!"
