Kris Aquino is moving away from Manila
5 Feb – Kris Aquino has recently surprised many by announcing that she is leaving Manila to reside in a beach-front house in a province as a birthday gift to herself.
As reported on Manila Bulletin, the actress shared the news on Instagram, saying that they will be renting the place for six months to live a provincial life and stay away from the National Capital Region for now.
"I am taking my time in residing where my sons and I feel most comfortable. The new Skyway extensions have greatly increased our options. I chose to stay away from city living first because during the pandemic, I need to take better care of my health because as you saw in this video I am the only parent the 13-year-old beside me has," she said, referring to son Bimby.
She added that her sons will always be her priority, which is why she needed to protect her health.
"We all know my immunity is compromised because of my autoimmune condition," she said.
The actress will be turning 50 on 14 February.
