Kraft Has Seasoning Flavor Packets For Their Mac And Cheese, And They Taste Like Doritos And Combos

Kraft boxed mac and cheese is a childhood lunch we all had. If you were like me, you amped yours up with a little extra something. I'd settle for anything I could reach in the pantry or fridge—crunchy potato chips, tangy pickles, or salty bacon bits.

Kraft is now making my childhood dreams a reality by releasing new seasoning packets. They come in three flavors—pizza, ranch, and buffalo—and are called Flavor Boosts. Think dry powders you can sprinkle into your cooked mac and cheese to give it an upgrade. Ahead of the release, I got to try them to see if they lived up to my childhood memories.

The ranch, which is exactly like ranch powder you can buy at the grocery store, tasted just like the savory flavor of Cool Ranch Doritos. The pizza flavor tasted identical to those pizza- flavored Combos I remember buying from the cafeteria vending machine. And the buffalo flavor packed some heat and gave the dish an orange-y, golden glow. All of them are delicious and represent a nostalgic callback to other childhood snacks. I might even save some powder to sprinkle on popcorn or other munchies.

Right now, Kraft plans on releasing them in grocery stores early next year, but if you’re a true fan, you can join the Kraft FLVRS Club and get a taste now. Head to https://www.kraftflvrs.com/ to sign up. Buffalo comes out today; the remaining two will be released on 10/28 and 11/2.
