Korean rapper PSY releases track covers from comeback album

Just a day before his official comeback to the Korean music scene on Wednesday (10 May), Korean rapper PSY revealed five track covers from his long-awaited eighth album, “4×2=8”.

The covers for the five tracks has cartoon versions of all artistes that were either featured in the song or the song’s music video. The five covers were released for the tracks “I Luv It”, “New Face”, “Last Scene”, “Love” and “Bomb”.

For the music videos of two of his title songs, “New Face” and “I Luv It”, Na-eun from K-pop girl group A-Pink and movie star Lee Byung-heon (who is also a good friend of PSY) will be making special appearances.

The other three images feature PSY’s fellow label-mates, model-actress Lee Sung-kyung, BIGBANG’s Taeyang and iKON’s B.I and Bobby.

For his upcoming album, PSY will also be collaborating with other big names in the Korean music industry, such as J.Y.Park ‘The Asiansoul’, Block B’s ZICO, Epik High’s Tablo, and BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, in writing and composing every single song.

The 39-year-old rapper, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, first achieved international success with the song, “Gangnam Style” in 2012. His last album, “Chiljip Psy-da”, was released in December 2015.
