Barely three months since their last concert in Singapore, popular Korean boy group EXO is set to return to the island again.

This time, the group will be making a guest appearance at shoe brand Skechers’ “Sweet Monster K-pop dance competition 2017” on 10 June.

Skechers Singapore published a Facebook post on Thursday (18 May) announcing details of the dance competition as well as an appearance by EXO, who are also brand ambassadors .

The grand finals of the competition will take place at Causeway Point atrium on 10 June, with the top three prizes worth up to USD$6,000 in total.

After the initial announcement was made, several fans requested the company clarify if EXO would be making an actual appearance.

Some fans pointed out that EXO’s sub-unit group, EXO-C.B.X (which consists of members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin), is slated to perform at the “2017 Bangkok Super Live” concert along with Romeo and label-mate Red Velvet.

In response, Skechers made another announcement earlier on Friday (19 May), stating, “We would like to inform that EXO will make a physical appearance at this K-pop dance competition final. More details will be released soon.”

EXO was appointed as the brand ambassadors of Skechers in 2016, with the release of the D’Lites 2 series.
