To celebrate the launch of their mini e-shop on Lazada, shoppers can apply the discount code MAMLAZ5 to get $5 off all Mamonde items. However, this is limited to the first 50 customers per day until 31 March.

The popular South Korean beauty brand is known for using flowers in their products, specifically the hibiscus, camellia, magnolia, honeysuckle and lotus.

They are all grown in the Mamonde Garden in Osan, South Korea, where they are frozen or heat-dried to preserve their active ingredients, which are then extracted for use in their products.

“Launching digitally first in Singapore was a deliberate move that allows us to observe consumer purchasing habits before scaling up operations in the market,” said Mr Robin Na, head of Amorepacific’s ASEAN regional headquarters, the company behind the brand.

Mamonde (the ‘de’ is silent) translates to mean ‘my world’ (in French), was launched in South Korea in 1991.

Mamonde has skincare and makeup lines dedicated to flowers such as hibiscus, camellia, magnolia, honeysuckle and lotus.

Their latest brand ambassador is popular Korean actress, Park Shin-hye, who last appeared in the hit K-drama, “Doctors”.

After she appeared on the drama wearing Mamonde’s Highlight Lip Tint in #6 Pin Spot, there was a surge in sales for that product, creating what was dubbed as the ‘Park Shin-hye lipstick effect’.
