Korean-American singer Eric Nam to perform in Singapore on 30 July

Popular Korean-American singer-songwriter Eric Nam is set to perform in Singapore for the first time on 30 July (Saturday), 6pm at The MES Theatre at Mediacorp.

Nam’s “1st Live in Singapore” event will have two ticket prices: standard tickets at $88 and VIP tickets that cost $128 (both excluding SISTIC booking fees).

Those who purchase the VIP tickets will get to take a group photo with Nam and four to six other fans.

Tickets go on sale on 12 May (Friday) via SISTIC’s website, their mobile app, hotline (+65 6348 5555) and SISTIC authorised agents.

According to organiser Mode Entertainment, he will also be holding a meet-and-greet session at IMM Garden Plaza Level 3 on 29 July (Saturday) at 3pm.

28-year-old Nam, who was born in Atlanta, US, speaks English, Korean, Spanish and a little bit of Mandarin. In South Korea, he is known as the TV personality who interviews international celebrities.

He first gained attention for his acoustic cover of 2NE1’s song “Lonely” on YouTube, and made his debut on Korean television with the singing competition “Birth Of A Great Star 2”.

He has also appeared on several variety shows in Korea, including “We Got Married”, “After School Club” and “SNL Korea”.

In addition to his TV appearances, Nam has also participated in music collaborations with Timbaland, Epik High’s Tablo, Gallant, Red Velvet’s Wendy, and most recently with Jeon So-mi for a single titled, “You, Who?”.

Nam’s last album, “Interview” was released in 2016.
