Kiwi Yuen hopes to renew contract with TVB

25 Oct - Much like most of her colleagues that have signed with TVB, former ATV actress Kiwi Yuen stated that she is happy with her current situation with the company.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who returned to TVB after ATV failed to renew its broadcast license last year, stated that she has already filmed two projects, "Come Home Love: Dinner at 8" and "My Unfair Lady", with the company since she signed with them.

"I am very grateful. I hope more producers and directors will use former ATV actors like us," said Kiwi.

With her current contract with TVB expiring in six months' time, Kiwi expressed hope to renew her contract with the company soon.

When asked if there is any problem working in Hong Kong, as she is currently residing in Guangzhou, Kiwi said that she is already used to it, and has already convinced her husband to accept the situation as well.

Kiwi joined ATV back in 1989 after joining Miss Asia pageant, and continued with the station until 2003, when she decided to join TVB. However, she later returned to ATV in 2007, where she remained until it ceased over-the-air transmission in April this year.
