Kim Kardashian stars on three different covers for this month’s issue of Vogue Japan.

The reality television star and entrepreneur shared the three separate cover images on her Instagram earlier today.

This is the first time Kardashian has featured on a Vogue Japan cover – and she describes the shoot as “an absolute dream come true”.

In one cover, she dons a bondage inspired dress, complete with buckles and mesh detail.

This revealing look is not unusual for Kardashian. The cover outfit is reminiscent of a cut-out Thierry Mugler dress she wore earlier this year.

Another cover shows Kardashian wearing a futuristic looking mask by Chalayan Studio – the fashion house headed up by Turkish designer Hussein Chalayan paired with a ruby and diamond Bulgari necklace, with red lipstick to match.

In the third image, she wears a pink silk headdress by Maison Valentino.

Kardashian’s high-fashion wardrobe has been met with praise from her Instagram followers.

“THIS IS EVERYTHING!!! -gorgeous!!!,” wrote artistic director Jeff Leatham, while hair artist Chris Appleton wrote: “Love this and love you”.

Other comments included: “THIS. IS. FASHION.”, “Your best shoot to date” and “Obsessed with these”.

Not everyone is on board with the stand-out looks, however.

One follower wrote: “Not my thing but I guess it works for whatever their concept is. Too bizarre”

Another added: “Hmm idk [I don’t know] about these.”

Meanwhile, one of the looks she wears in the cover shoot – a larger than life puffer-style dress – has drawn sleeping bag comparisons on Twitter.

The look, shared by Kardashian on Twitter, is a full-skirted white puffer coat-dress with a white and red striped hood.

Kardashian has previously starred on covers for British Vogue, US Vogue, Vogue Taiwan, Vogue Spain, Vogue Brasil, Vogue Australia and Vogue India.
