Kim Kardashian Shows Off Her Style Transformation in a Suede Halter-Neck Gown
Kim Kardashian has clearly entered a new era of dressing, with her recent looks often invoking leather, cutouts, and Y2K silhouettes. Her latest Y2k revival came in the form of a suede halter-neck dress, which wore to GQ’s 2023 Men of the Year party.
Last night, the Skims mogul arrived at Los Angeles’s Chateau Marmont in a caramel suede gown from Chrome Hearts that complemented her long honey-blonde hair. The jaw-dropping piece featured a halter neckline held up by a delicate gold chain, as well as a skintight skirt with a bustled train.
Kardashian finished off the look with simple accessories, including a few gold rings and matching caramel heels.
At the event, Kardashian made sure to pose for photos with her mom, Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner, who was also in attendance. Jenner looked sophisticated in a sleek tailored black suit and a bedazzled Dior bag.
Kardashian also repped Chrome Hearts earlier this month, at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards.
For that event, she channeled Pamela Anderson in an all-leather Chrome Hearts two-piece set that included a backless halter-neck top with a high turtleneck feature and a maxi skirt with a body-hugging silhouette and hook-and-eye clasps all the way down the back’s center. Both pieces additionally featured a jacquard pattern emblazoned with the brand’s famous gothic crosses. She paired the outfit with towering shiny black heels, a glossy black manicure, and a messy high bun with face-framing bangs—a style that became Anderson’s signature updo in the late ’90s.
