Back in the early noughties, Paris Hilton propelled the velour tracksuit to the height of luxury.
Now, the businesswoman and DJ, 39, is helping her friend, and former personal stylist, Kim Kardashian reprise the look for autumn 2020.
The reality TV star, also 39, is launching a range of the comfy, 2000s-inspired looks as part of her SKIMS brand.
Sharing a sneak peek of the new collection with her 190 million followers on Instagram, the mother-of-four can be seen wearing a matching honey-coloured nude velour crop top and tracksuit bottoms in a car park.
Beside her poses The Simple Life favourite, who wears a velour zip-through hoodie with matching tracksuit bottoms in a plum, amethyst tone.
Captioning the snap of the pair, Kardashian wrote: “Besties for life!!! Me and @parishilton in our skims velour.
“U guys have no idea how tracksuits were our uniform and so happy to make a skims version.”
The post has received more than two million ‘likes’, with as well as over 20,000 comments.
Hair stylist Jen Atkin wrote: “Omfg!!”
Demi Lovato shared: “Wow this is iconic.”
Another fan simply added: “ICONIC.”
And Hilton herself replied: “Love you gorgeous! So much fun shooting this with you!”
The collection goes on sale on Wednesday 21 October at 10:46am PT (18:46 BST) – the exact time Kardashian turns 40 years old.
According to a preview on the website, the range will include tracksuit bottoms costing $72, or approximately £55.
The hoodie is priced at $78 (£60), while the crop top costs $42 (£32).
As well as ‘amethyst’ and ‘honey’ colour options, items are also available in a slate grey named ‘smoke’ and a rusty red called ‘sienna’.
It comes just weeks after Hilton revealed that Kardashian encouraged her to freeze her eggs in order to fulfil her dreams of motherhood.
Speaking in an interview with The Sunday Times, the reality TV star said that she had been “inspired” by her friend after an “amazing conversation”.
She is currently dating tech entrepreneur Carter Reum, but decided to freeze her eggs a few years ago.
The great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels, said: “I had a really amazing conversation with Kim [Kardashian] about it.
“She introduced me to her doctor, and I was so inspired by her to actually do it.
“I think every woman should do it because you can really control it and not have that ‘Oh my God, I need to get married.’”
