Yesterday was a pretty big day for Jimmy Kimmel — the host turned 50. And what better way to celebrate than have actors and stars like Kristen Bell and Kim Kardashian read mean tweets to you?

If you’re a fan of the “Mean Tweets” segment of Jimmy Kimmel Live, you probably know that it’s about time that the tables turned. And since we literally can’t think of anything bad to say about Kimmel, we’re shocked that so many people decided to express so much vitriol against the host on Twitter.

Bell and Kardashian weren’t the only celebrities to roast Kimmel. Chris Hemsworth, Jon Stewart, Tracy Morgan, Amy Schumer, Zach Galifianakis, and Jennifer Lawrence also joined in to repeat some of Twitter’s meanest Kimmel-related insults.

The sketch started with Ray Romano setting up the segment. The host sat on a chair fit for a birthday king while watching his friends read the mean tweets. Kardashian’s was especially memorable, as the tweet came straight from her husband, Kanye West. If you can recall, West and Kimmel had somewhat of a “feud” back in 2013, with a few harsh tweets sent on West’s end. Luckily, they’ve made amends since. (Since at the end of the day, they’re both professionals.)

Let’s take a moment to reflect on Larry David, who read a mean tweet that was so funny that he almost couldn’t recite it on camera. For the record, we would have reacted the same way. It’s just so innocently cruel.

Kardashian handled West’s tweet like a  professional, proving they’re pretty much the ultimate celebrity couple.

Luckily, Kimmel seemed to think the whole segment was pretty funny. He’s seen enough “Mean Tweets” segments to know how to handle a little bit of light criticism.
