Kim Chiu has moved on from past hurt

The actress says that she wouldn't have been able to work with Geralnd Anderson if she didn't

1 May - Actress Kim Chiu admitted that there was an awkwardness between her former onscreen partner, Gerald Anderson when they first started shooting "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin".

As reported on Rappler, the actress, who spoke about the reunion between the two during the show's press conference recently, stated that while they have long forgotten about their past issues, they never actually become close friends.

"We just say hi to each other in [variety show] "ASAP". Now we had to act chummy in our scenes!," she said.

However, Chiu said that after working together for many months on set of their new drama, it became easier for them to interact with one another.

"We have both learned so much. We became more professional, and I am happy that the things happened then, when we were younger. Now we know better," she added.

Chiu, who broke up with Anderson back in 2010 after four years of relationship amid rumours that the actor cheated on her, stated that she has learned an important lesson after working with him in the drama.

"You won't be fully happy if you don't know how to forgive. Why not just forgive the person and go on with your life? You'll feel happier," she added.

She also stated that there is no more barriers between the two of them, which is why they were able to work on the drama together.
