Kim Chiu denies she's the new Queen of Horror

24 Oct - Kim Chiu is rejecting the notion that she is the new Horror Queen of Philippine cinema, saying that the title still belongs to Kris Aquino.

As reported on Sunstar, the actress, who appeared at the press conference of her upcoming horror movie "Ghost Bride", stated that she is not worthy of the title since she doesn't make a lot of horror movies like Aquino does.

Aquino, who is also known as the '90s Massacre Queen, has starred in various horror films including "Shake, Rattle & Roll" (1991), "Dalaw" (2010), and "Feng Shui" (2004, 2014).

"[The title belongs to] her, Madame Krissy. Nobody else. Let's just create another title," she added.

Chiu admitted that she is nervous about her third horror film, since it will be the first time that she will play the lead.

"Ghost Bride" is set to be released this 1 November.
