Kill Bill 3 ‘Definitely A Possibility’

It looks as though Tarantino is still vaguely interested in making a ‘Kill Bill’ follow-up.

During an interview with What The Flick, the 52-year-old filmmaker gave ‘Kill Bill’ fans a little hope… once again hinting that he isn’t quite finished with that story.

“There definitely is a possibility,” he said. “It’s like um… stop short of saying a probability… but there could be. For one reason in particular: Uma and me would have a really good time working together again.”

Of course, the last time we saw Uma Thurman’s Bride, she had managed to kill Bill… and made off with their daughter B.B. to start a new life together.

But a third instalment wouldn’t pick up straight after these events…

“The whole idea is that everybody would be as old as they are,” he explained. So it seems that if Tarantino ever does make ‘Kill Bill 3’, it would pick up far in the Bride’s future.

And the reason? He wants to give her a little time to relax.

“I put the character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot,” he explained. “And so I wanted her to have this much time for peace. You know? I wanted her to have some time with her daughter and actually not have to be on the genre machine - she could actually enjoy her life for a while.”

Despite a whole catalogue of impressive cinematic contributions, Tarantino described the ‘Kill Bill’ films as “probably my most visionary”… and explained that it would be nice to head back to a world which is much more visceral.

Will ‘Kill Bill 3’ ever get made? We’ll have to wait and see… but we really hope so.
