New Kids on the Block Fans Are Going to Be Obsessed With Donnie Wahlberg's Pre-Show Photo

Some rockstars prepare for a show by doing a set of 50 pushups while others drink all the caffeine they can muster; some get their mind right with meditation while others throw an all-out dance party to get their blood flowing. And then there’s Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg and the New Kids on the Block, who place value on sleep above all else.

“‘Pre show power nap’ or ‘When Boy Bands Sleep’ or ‘The Boy Band that sleeps together, stays together’ or ’The Boys In The Bed’ or ‘New Kids on The Bed’ or ‘The Man Band Centipede’ or ‘Donnie In The Middle’ — (forgot that one). What are we naming this photo that was taken 30 minutes before we walked to the @amas stage?” he queried in the caption of a photo of himself, Danny Wood, and Jordan Knight.

Needless to say, fans are swooning (and chuckling) over the photo.

“LOL the nap is required after a certain age,” one fan wrote. “3/5 of my heart napping on a bed lol,” another commented. “Ummm…. Room for me?” another joked.

For those that missed it, New Kids on the Block teamed up with fellow boy band New Edition for a floor-shaking performance at the 2021 American Music Awards. Following the show, Danny also took time to honor another boy band present at the AMAs, BTS.

“Having been a member of a boy band (@nkotb) that went to the @amas as a young man, and received screams that never stopped for the duration of the entire show (so much so that other people’s fans actually started booing us back — true story), I can tell you that these guys #BTS handled the event with so much grace. They loved their fans for their support (aka #BTSARMY), they gave love and respect to every single artist they came across and they never stopped being humble, the entire night. I was proud to wear their T-shirt on the red carpet and am more proud that I did after meeting them. They were a true example of how to #LoveYourself and how that love allows you to love everyone else,” he shared on Instagram.

We love how close Donnie still is with this bandmates and can't wait to see what 2022 brings the NKOTB!
