Kid Cudi delays new album

The upcoming album from Kid Cudi, "Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'" has been delayed reports Pitchfork.

The musician revealed only earlier this week his plans to release the new material on Friday 30 September, however Kid Cudi announced on Twitter that the album had been delayed, posting that "Due to some minor sample clearances being finalized, we miss our deadline for tonight."

"HOWEVER, you will be able to purchase ‘FREQUENCY' and ‘SURFIN' within the next 48hrs for your groovy pleasure to hold you over," the singer continued, so there is some good news for fans.

"Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'" will be Kid Cudi's follow up to 2015's "Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven," and will feature fellow artists André 3000 (credited as André Benjamin), Travis Scott, Pharrell, and Willow Smith.
