KFC launches salted egg Goldspice Chicken in honour of National Day

In commemoration of Singapore’s 53rd birthday this year, fast food chain KFC launched the new Goldspice Chicken today (4 July), available till 9 August.

Coated with salted egg, spicy chilli, curry leaves and sweet basil, the Goldspice Chicken is inspired by Singaporeans’ love for such food items, said KFC.

KFC is offering the limited-edition chicken in several of its meals, such as the Goldspice five-piece meal priced at $19.55, which includes five pieces of Goldspice Chicken, two regular Whipped Potato and two regular coleslaws.

There are also the Goldspice two-piece meal priced at $8.55, which includes two pieces of Goldspice Chicken, one regular Whipped Potato and one regular coleslaw; as well as the Goldspice box meal priced at $10.55, which includes two pieces of Goldspice Chicken, two pieces of Hot & Crispy Tenders and 1 regular fries.

The Goldspice Feast, consisting of nine pieces of Goldspice Chicken, 12 pieces of Nuggets, two medium Whipped Potato, two medium Coleslaw and four regular SJORA drinks, costs $38.95.

The Goldspice Chicken will be sold at all KFC outlets excluding Sentosa, the Singapore Zoo and Kidzania.

KFC will also be introducing the new Chocalate Hazelnut Egg Tart – a puff pastry crust filled with egg custard and hazelnut chocolate – to its menu, priced at $1.50.

Customers can also look forward to the new Chocolate Hazelnut Fries, only available at selected stores. The stores are at Tampines Hub, Jurong Point, Causeway Point, NEX, Kallang Stadium, Tampines CPF Building, Waterway Point, Compass One, Sun Plaza and Choa Chu Kang Lot 1.

In addition, with every purchase of a Goldspice Meal, customers will have the chance to win an Audi Q2, a daily cash prize of $488, or KFC Instant Rewards including one piece of Goldspice Chicken, free Milo, Sjora and Whipped Potato, during the National Day celebration period.
