30 Jan – Kenneth Ma is not worried at all about leaving Hong Kong for Singapore during the dire times following the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who is set to perform in the country alongside Ekin Cheng, stated that he would just pay more attention to his own hygiene and bring face masks and disinfectant among other things.
"I actually had another show in Huizhou that has been cancelled, but the organiser for this Singapore show said nothing about cancelling. Since I have already accepted the job, I would do it. Singapore should be safe," he said.
Kenneth also stated that he would not stay long in Singapore after the performance since his parents are in Hong Kong.
"I plan to buy some masks in Singapore to bring home, but I do hope that Hong Kong will have masks available soon for the public to buy," he added.
As to whether his work after the Lunar New Year will be affected by the epidemic, Kenneth said that he is not clear about the whole arrangement.
"You should ask TVB about it. All I know is that I am filming the sequel to "Who Wants a Baby?" soon. But since the epidemic is so severe, I am unsure whether filming will be postponed or not," he said.
