Kenneth Ma will not be on "Forensic Heroes IV"?

20 Aug – Fans of actor Kenneth Ma are expressing frustration over reports that the actor will not be involved in the fourth instalment of the "Forensic Heroes" franchise.

As reported on HK01, news sources earlier claimed that producer Mui Siu Ching has been preparing for the fourth series, which reportedly will have Kenneth Ma and Joey Meng playing the lead. However, later reports stated that Joey has already been removed from possible casting as she is currently on a break from acting.

Now it is rumoured that even Kenneth will no longer be a part of the drama, and will instead be replaced by Shaun Tam.

Fans who heard the news had since express anger over TVB's supposed mistreatment of Kenneth.

Many claimed that despite proof that Kenneth is able to carry a project when he played the protagonist in "The Exorcist's Meter" last year, the company failed to give him meatier role, with him relegated to play the third lead in "Deep in the Realm of Conscience" - his only drama airing this year.

On the other hand, Shaun, son of veteran star Ti Lung who just joined TVB in 2016, has already been given leading roles in several dramas including "The Stunt", "Succession War", and the upcoming costume drama, "Justice Pao: The First Year".
