KC Concepcion sells hand-crafted jewellery
17 Nov – While other celebrities are holding charity drives and auctioning off items to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses, KC Concepcion is selling jewellery for the same goal.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress recently announced on social media that she will be personally designing hand-crafted jewellery from her line, Avec Moi by Kristina, for customers who would like to get them and simultaneously donate to the project.
"I'm selling ready-made, hand-crafted [Avec Moi jewellery] pieces (it usually takes 4 weeks made-to-order), designed by yours truly, for the IMMEDIATE RESCUE & RELIEF efforts in Cagayan, Northern Philippines. They will be available to serious buyers on Tuesday, November 17th," she wrote.
In addition to her jewellery, Concepcion, who is a celebrity ambassador for WWF-PH, is also urging the public to help out with Project Silong, which is aiding fishing communities in Albay and Camarines Sur - the two places that were hit by Typhoon Goni earlier this month.
"The fishing communities of Lagonoy Gulf have been our close partners in pushing for sustainable fishing practices since 2011. Our site team acted swiftly to assess our affected fishing communities and determine their immediate needs. Through Project Silong, help us #ChangeTheEnding for our food producers as we #BuildBackBetter communities that are more sustainable to face the climate crisis," she expressed.
