Kayan Choi promises to be more careful with choice of words
27 Apr – Kayan Choi recently admitted that did not think things through when she wrote her recent Instagram post that sparked anger among netizens.
The Hong Kong YouTuber and Miss Hong Kong alumna spoke to On CC about the issue recently, saying that she didn't think that her comments would attract such negative response from the public, and that she will definitely reflect on her mistakes.
"That was not my attention. I am sorry for hurting people's feelings. I admit that what I wrote was quite thoughtless. I will be more cautious with my use of words in the future," she said.
Earlier this week, Kayan found herself in conflict with netizens after sharing a photo of her going on a hike, and saying that she was "thankful" to the pandemic for enabling her to exercise with the whole family.
The post sparked anger among many, with netizens saying that she should not be grateful for the pandemic when it had killed hundreds of thousands of people.
