Katy Perry gets cozy with Santa Claus in new "Cozy Little Christmas" video

"Cozy Little Christmas" was co-written and co-produced with Perry's longtime collaborators Greg Wells and Ferras Alqaisi.

The holiday song was originally released as an Amazon Music exclusive in 2018, before hitting streaming platforms earlier this year.

Ahead of the winter holidays, the award-winning vocalist has announced a "25 Days of Cozy" Christmas countdown, promising fans a series of "fun surprises."

Among them are the long-awaited accompanying music video for "Cozy Little Christmas," which was helmed by directing duo WATTS.

The visual finds Perry enjoying some well-deserved vacation time with Santa Claus himself, drinking eggnog with a cast of Christmas characters and getting couple's massages from a reindeer.

"Sure it's madness, but it's magic/As soon as you hang up the mistletoe/'Cause you're the reason for the season/No, we don't need to keep up with the Jones," the hitmaker sings over a catchy beat.

As Genius pointed out, "Cozy Little Christmas" marks Perry's second Christmas song after "Every Day is a Holiday," which was released as promotion for H&M's 2015 #HappyAndMerry campaign.

Earlier this year, the Grammy-winner unveiled the singles "Harleys in Hawaii," "Small Talk" and "Never Really Over," which will likely appear on her forthcoming new album.

Although details about the yet-untitled project are still scarce to this date, it would mark Perry's sixth studio effort following her 2017 "Witness."
