Katy Kung sustains another injury filming "Assassin"

8 Dec – After several months of shooting her new TVB drama, "Assassin", Katy Kung revealed that her whole body is just a map of injuries.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who plays a mad female assassin in the new drama, revealed that she recently needed some stitches on her calf after accidentally doing the wrong kick during an action scene.

"When I saw my calf was injured, I went to the staff to help me with the wound before continuing with the shooting. But the wound didn't stop bleeding. We replaced the bandages five times and they were all stained with blood," she said.

Katy stated that she immediately went to the hospital after filming to deal with the wound, where she was told that it would need to be stitched.

However, the actress admitted that this is not the only injury she has sustained throughout filming.

"I fractured my finger and tore my ligaments earlier and it hasn't recovered yet. You can see that my little finger is a bit deformed," she said.

Katy stated that she doesn't even know how she was able to go on despite her injuries, but that she continued filming despite of it.

"It was not easy, but I really enjoyed the process. It's worth it. If there is another chance, I would love to do it again," she added.
