Katy Kung accepts TVB's decision to postpone "The Offliners"

24 Apr – TVB actress Katy Kung stated that she will not take it to heart the decision made by TVB to postpone the airing of her new drama, "The Offliners".

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who is playing the female lead for the first time in the said drama, stated that she would respect the company's arrangement when it decided to pull the drama from its May line-up.

"I won't be disappointed. I have done my job to try to make a good show. On the other things, I will let the company decide," she said.

Katy stated that while "The Offliners" will not be showing next month, she still has two other shows that will be airing soon - the period drama, "Justice Pao: The First Year", and the action series, "Assassin".

"I am working hard right now. I won't worry that the fans won't see me," she said.

When asked of her opinion on the cheating scandal surrounding Andy Hui and Jacqueline Wong - which was the reason why her drama's broadcast date was postponed in the first place - she said, "This is a matter between the two of them. It's not convenient for other people to express their opinion."
