Katie Holmes's Spring Wardrobe Is All About Big Pleated Pants
It's a big day for big pants! Katie Holmes has brought her effortlessly chic street style to the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where she put an emphasis on the big pants trend.
First, the Rare Objects director attended a panel event in a sandy suit by Kallmeyer. She wore the hourglass linen blazer unbuttoned and layered over a plain white T-shirt. The matching pair of khaki wide-leg trousers featured crisp pleats and a fabric belt. She kicked it up a notch with her footwear, stepping out in black-and-white snakeskin boots with a narrow square toe.
Meanwhile, her jewelry included twisted diamond and gold hoop earrings and a gold chain and emerald pendant necklace by Yvonne Léon, plus a thick gold ring from Eéra.
Later in the day, Holmes swapped her big pants for even bigger pants to attend the Kering Women in Motion Talk. These statement trousers, made in an off-white hue, included a billowing wide-leg and ankle-length silhouette. To finish the look off, she wore a vibrant lime green fitted blouse, a slouchy butter yellow jacket, silver satin bowtie kitten heels, and angular gold earrings from Rainbow K.
Fans of the actor's street style may recognize her gravitation towards baggy trousers.
She previously made headlines back in April when she was photographed out and about in New York City while wearing military green R13 trousers covered all over with shimmering gold sequins and bleached paint splatters.
And during an outing in January, Holmes wore two capacious Kallmeyer pants in the span of a few hours. The first was a high-waisted satin pair doused in a frothy metallic gold color. The second featured a structured high-rise silhouette in a chocolate brown shade.
