10 Feb – Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla recently called for more responsibility on everybody's part in sharing news and spreading awareness about the Coronavirus outbreak.

As reported on Inquirer, the two stars who spoke about the use of social media in circulating information about the epidemic, stated that it is important for everybody to raise awareness about the situation, though stressed that attentiveness is important in doing so.

"The news has to be accurate, so we should think before we post. There are a lot of information being uploaded online about it these days, but you're not always sure if they're true. We should be able to determine which sources are reliable and which ones are fake," said Bernardo.

At the same time, Padilla believes that one needs to always be cautious and do more in strengthening one's own health.

"Let's refrain from going to crowded places and always wear masks. It is also important to wash hands and disinfect," he added.

It is noted that the Philippines has reported three confirmed cases of the Coronavirus at the time of writing, with the first case - a Chinese tourist from Wuhan - no longer showing the symptoms and is set to be discharged.
