Katherine Ho, ex-husband released joint-statement on divorce
10 May – Former beauty queen Katherine Ho and ex-husband Ng Chi Sing have recently released a joint-statement to address speculations of her supposed affair with billionaire Anson Chan.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress and the SJM CEO released the statement to the media, indicating that the two of them have been separated since last year. In other words, the marriage only lasted less than six months than the previously reported nine.
They also stressed that there was no financial dispute involved throughout their relationship, following allegations that the 26-year-old left the 66-year-old Ng for a younger wealthier man.
The statement read, "We have been separated since last year and lived our own lives. But we have always maintained good friendship in private or in public. We thank each other for the mutual understanding."
"We split up under friendly and understanding circumstances. Our breakup did not involve any monetary disputes. We remain good friends."
Katherine recently sparked speculations of an affair with Anson Chan after photos of her kissing the billionaire made it to the tabloids just a day before she announced her divorce.
