Sneak peek of kate spade’s pop-up store rendering

Kate Spade fans, there’s an Instagrammable pop-up store you wouldn’t want to miss. Located on Level 1 in ION Orchard mall alongside key luxury fashion brands, the 12 square-meter space was designed under the artistic direction of Creative Director Nicola Glass. The pop-up opens on Monday, March 11th and will last until Sunday, March 24th.

In her re-imagining of the brand, Nicola was inspired by its original house codes—thoughtful design, modern and sophisticated color, the spade—and evolved them in her own way. The pop-up is housed in a newly refined spade silhouette, its entryway highlighting the new sophisticated and eclectic brand colour palette. Inside, softly curved fixtures, pedestals and mannequin displays reinforce the modern femininity at the heart of the brand. Meanwhile the materials, including transparent exterior walls, gently carpeted interior floors and balloon light fixtures, are an extension of the sunny optimism of the brand’s Spring 2019 runway concept at New York Fashion Week.

The pop-up features the kate spade new york ready-to-wear collection, as well as an assortment of bags, small leather goods, accessories and jewelry. In celebration of the launch, the pop-up will feature a Southeast Asia limited edition bag which can be personalised in store on March 15th and 16th, 2019.

The pop-up will also feature the ‘”unlock your heart” activation globally launching on March 15th, 2019 which allows customers to personalise their own luggage tag on the global microsite and collect them at the kate spade new york ION Orchard store.
