The Queen hosts a pre-Christmas lunch for extended royal relatives who won’t be celebrating the holiday with her and close family at her Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Last year, about 50 guests attended, according to People.

Kate’s first time attending the luncheon as a royal was back in 2011, months after she and Prince William got married. She’s been seen attending every year ever since, and now brings along her and William’s young children.

Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge went for a chic affordable holiday outfit, opting for a black Zara cape paired with a faux fur collar.

Kate has had her fair share of holiday events in the past month. In early December, she and Prince William hosted a Christmas party for military families at Kensington Palace. The following day-after a very regal, tiara-filled Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace-the couple jetted overseas to meet with military personnel deployed in Cyprus.

Then, last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge got to spread some holiday cheer at Evelina Children’s hospital and The Passage homeless shelter.

Although they’ve been out of the public eye since then, the couple did share their Christmas card this year, featuring a sweet family photo including their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
