After night two of the Democratic presidential debates, there were a few solid takeaways, but most memorable is the chaotic performance given by Marianne Williamson. The self-help author and antagonist of New Zealand provided some of the night’s most quotable moments, and when a presidential nominee is worthy of being caricatured, there’s only one woman tough enough for the job-Kate McKinnon.

On Thursday night, McKinnon stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote her new film, Yesterday. Since she was already there, she kicked back with the crew and watched the debate in-house. Though McKinnon has become known for her spot-on Senator Elizabeth Warren impression this election cycle, she couldn’t help but give us a first draft version of her Marianne Williamson: a strange mix of soap opera actress and drunk aunt, forged into one person. It is perfect.

The good news is, as Meyers noted, there’s almost certainly no way Williamson will make it to the fall when the race begins to heat up. The bad news is, there’s almost certainly no way Williamson will make it to the fall when someone (should be Cecily Strong) could impersonate her on Saturday Night Live. The candidate's eccentric personality is perfect for television fodder, but last time the country put all its eggs in the basket of a TV star... well, look around.

Maybe we can at least keep our fingers crossed for a "Ghost of Marianne Williamson" sketch on Saturday Night Live because with 20 Democratic candidates and 17 months of this campaign left, we're going to need all the laughs we can get. Girlfriend, bring it on.
