Katarina Rodriguez won't compete in pageants anymore

22 Mar – Twice is enough for beauty queen Katarina Rodriguez, who admitted that she is retiring from pageantry.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the Miss World Philippines 2018 told the media recently that she is not thinking of competing again for the third time.

"I think that the world – or the universe, rather – has spoken and said my time is up for pageantry. I gave it a good run, I have been in the pageant world for two years and I enjoyed it very much," she said.

If there is one thing that she regrets, said Rodriguez, it would be the fact that she didn't join pageants much earlier, otherwise she would have been able to plan things more strategically.

"If I had known I would love it this much, I would have joined earlier on," she added.

Rodriguez first joined Binibining Pilipinas in 2017, and went on to represent the Philippines in Miss Intercontinental - where she was placed first runner-up.

In 2018, she competed and won Miss World Philippines, but failed to enter Top 30 at the Miss World pageant.
