Karena Ng annoyed by materialistic image forced on her
23 Apr – Hong Kong actress Karena Ng admitted that she is annoyed by tabloids constantly painting her as a materialistic woman.
In an interview with Mingpao recently, the 25-year-old actress stated that she does appreciate people who have the ability to earn money, as it is an important thing to have in life.
However, she also believes in the importance of having a talent.
"Yes, I appreciate people who have economic foundation, who can teach me things. But I don't need people with money to take care of me. I can make my own money," she said.
Karena stated that the more important thing for her in a relationship is to be with someone with whom she can communicate and share similar interests.
"My zodiac sign is the Scorpio. I believe in first impressions. But after that, it is important to understand each other's character for us to get along," she said.
