Karena Lam has good relationship with ex-husband

12 Oct - Karena Lam recently assured that all is well with her and director Steve Yuen, following their divorce in July.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at an event on her own recently, stated that she and Steve are still good friends and will always be a family for their two daughters.

"Divorce is not the end of the world. Both of us are mature and work hard for our children," she said.

As to rumours that it was disputes over childcare and money that caused the end of their marriage, Karena responded, "That's just a rumour."

"We all have different values. This decision was made after much deliberation and discussion," she added.

Asked whether she would remarry in the future, the actress stated that she has not thought about it as she is currently busy with work.

"I will be going back to Taiwan to shoot a movie with Sylvia [Chang]. I am looking forward to that," said Karena.
