"The character of the mother is very positive. Despite her blindness, she takes care of her family, raised her daughter well, and is not afraid of being laughed at. She is a very optimistic and determined character," she said.

Kara stated that she even had a meeting with Judy prior to filming, and found out that the story was based on the director's own family life.

"She wrote the script herself and was very confident to direct it so that she can control everything freely," she said, adding that she decided to do the movie in order to support new filmmakers like Judy.

The actress also expressed hope that by watching the movie, more people will understand the hardships faced by the neglected segments of society.

"There are many inspirational stories among these people. They are self-reliant and have the perseverance not to bow to fate," she said.
