Kara Hui returns for "77 Heartburns"
13 Dec – Hong Kong actress Kara Hui was recently revealed to be among the original cast who will return for the new movie, "77 Heartburns" - the sequel of the 2017 movie, "77 Heartbreaks".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the worship ceremony for the said film recently, revealed that she will be reprising her role as Charlene Choi's mother in the sequel.
"This time, the story isn't as sad as the previous movie. And there is a wedding scene involved," she said.
When asked if she is the one who will be wearing a wedding dress in the said scene, Kara said that it would probably be a fantasy scene and that she has no clue as who the groom would be.
However, the actress stated that she will only begin filming the movie early next month.
"Since I have a stage play, I have to focus on it first," she said.
