Kanye West has *very* strong feelings on all of Kim K’s nude selfies
We can always count on Kanye West to share his passionate opinions about virtually any and everything, so we’re not exactly shocked to hear him offer his signature unfiltered thoughts on wifey Kim Kardashian’s nude selfies. Kardashian has already assured the world that she’s team “Naked selfies till I die,” but West expounds on her five-word declaration in Kimye’s cover story for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
“I love her nude selfies,” West told the fashion mag. “Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked; I love nudity.”
West then attempts to paint a clearer picture for us by letting us know just how crucial he thinks it is for Kardashian to continue freely flaunting her figure.
“And I love beautiful shapes,” he added. “I feel like it’s almost a Renaissance thing, a painting, a modern version of a painting. I think it’s important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing.”
So, there’s a few takeaways from West’s words. In addition to providing us with even more evidence that Kimye are perfect for one another, it’s even more clear that he’s intentional about publicly supporting his wife in a manner that shows he doesn’t give an eff about how people react to Kardashian posting nude pics, which is great. Also, Kardashian is equally supportive of her better half (the infamous “Famous” Snapchat video, anyone?) and they’re one of the most sex-positive celeb couples. But an uneasy feeling creeps its way into the picture when West compares her to a painting (which reeks of objectification) and seems to be hyper-focused on her figure, since she’s clearly a savvy businesswoman who’s smart enough to monetize her appeal.
Either way, still love these two forever. And they’re clearly as obsessed with each other as ever.
