Ms. Sahana Kamath, Head of Original Production for Viu Malaysia and Indonesia, said, "Remaking a much-loved Korean title was a calculated risk for us that more than paid off, with Season 1 garnering critical acclaim and ranking amongst the 10 most-watched series on the platform in Malaysia. Expectations are high, and the concluding 10-episodes of the series will not disappoint. Packed with romance, revelations and high-octane fight sequences, Season 2 exemplifies the new gold standard for premium drama that we have defined for the region."

The eight-episode series enabled Viu to win two awards at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Visual FX.
