Kamal Adli proposes to Uqasha Senrose on stage of AME
21 Dec – It was a surprise to not only the audience but actress Uqasha Senrose as well, when her onscreen and off-screen partner Kamal Adli went on one knee and proposed to her during the live broadcast of Anugerah MeleTOP Era last night.
The actress, who was already nervous about presenting alongside Kamal on stage, was in disbelief at the actor popping the question in front of the audience, at one point asking if he was promoting their new drama.
However, the 28 year-old actress immediately said yes upon being asked for the second time, much to the delight of everybody witnessing the event.
Uqasha's sister and fellow actress Nelydia Senrose also took to social media to express her happiness, writing, "[Oh my God], I'm crying. So happy for you, Sha. I love you so much. Guys, my sister has received a proposal."
Rumours of romance between Kamal and Uqasha sparked last year after they worked together in the TV series, "Setelah Terlafaznya Akad" last year. They were reunited once again on the small screen this year through Michael Ang's drama, "Perempuan Tanpa Dosa".
Michael previously slipped up and said that the two lovebirds had attended a wedding course in Kuantan while filming the said drama. However, both Kamal and Uqasha kept mum about their relationship.
