Kai Ko denies rumours of arrest
21 Oct – Kai Ko's camp has recently slammed rumours that the actor has been arrested by authorities.
As reported on Tencent, earlier, several sources claimed that the Taiwanese actor has been arrested yet again - though the reason is unclear - and that the situation has brought unnecessary anxiety for the producers of his new film.
In response to the rumours, Kai's studio released a statement online, saying that the rumour was defamatory and malicious.
"Due to concerns about the slander that is damaging to our artiste's reputation, we hereby put forward a solemn statement - we have the right to take legal action against any improper dissemination of false news according to the law," the statement read.
Kai Ko made headlines in 2014 after he was arrested by the Beijing Police for drug use alongside fellow actor Jaycee Chan.
