Cube Entertainment, the management agency for K-pop stars HyunA and E’Dawn, has said in another statement on Thursday (13 September) that it has not confirmed the firing of the two artists.

As reported by K-pop entertainment news website Soompi, Shin Dae Nam, the head of Cube Entertainment said: “HyunA and E’Dawn’s removal from the agency is a matter that is still being discussed and nothing is finalised. We believe that the artists’ opinion on the matter is important as well, and this is a matter in which we need to hear from them before making a final decision.”

“We will be holding a board of directors meeting next week to discuss this matter,” he added.

This comes after the agency said earlier on the same day that the two singers had been forced out of the agency.

“After much discussion, the judgment was made that it is not possible to recover the faith with the two artists HyunA and E’Dawn, so their removal has been decided,” it said in the earlier statement.

The announcement of HyunA’s and E’Dawn’s sacking came after HyunA, 26, revealed on Instagram that she is currently dating E’Dawn, 24, a member of boy band PENTAGON. Cube had previously denied any romance between the two.

Both singers have yet to comment on the matter.
