Justin Timberlake to Receive Hollywood Film Awards Song Honor

Justin Timberlake will receive the Hollywood song award at the Hollywood Film Awards for his single “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from the upcoming DreamWorks animated movie “Trolls.”

Timberlake will get the award at the Nov. 6 ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. James Corden is hosting. Dick Clark Productions made the announcement on Friday.

“Can’t Stop the Feeling!” is Timberlake’s fifth No. 1 single and has reached the top of the charts in more than 20 countries. The song was produced by Timberlake, who has won nine Grammys, along with Max Martin and Shellback (the professional name for Karl Johan Schuster).

Timberlake is also executive music producer on “Trolls” and stars with Anna Kendrick as the lead actor in the story of two trolls on a quest to save Troll Town. The movie hits theaters on Nov. 4.

Previously announced honorees include Tom Hanks for the Hollywood actor award, Hugh Grand for the supporting actor award, Natalie Portman for the actress award, Nicole Kidman for the supporting actress award, and Mel Gibson for the director award.
