Juno Mak postpones concert for new movie

14 Sep - Hong Kong singer-director Juno Mak revealed that he would have held a concert this year or next if not for the perpetual uncertainty that is his new movie.

As reported on Oriental Daily News, Juno, who attended MilkX's tenth anniversary party recently, stated that he has been planning for a Hong Kong Coliseum concert since last year, but had to postpone the project in order to do his sophomore directorial effort.

"You need to apply for the Coliseum a year in advance, but my movie will take a while," said Juno, who is unsure about the concert dates.

His upcoming film, "Sons of the Neon Night", however, will begin filming next year after two years of perfecting the script.

The "Rigor Mortis" director added, "The pre-production work has to be completed before filming starts. I don't want to delay it any longer."
