Julie Anne San Jose confirms breakup with Benjamin Alves
16 Jan – Julie Anne San Jose finally confirmed rumours that she has broken up with Benjamin Alves.
As reported on PEP, the singer, who addressed the breakup rumours at the press conference of her upcoming concert series, shared that the relationship has ended since last year.
"I'm okay. I'm good. Better," she said.
San Jose also stated that she is not yet ready to start on a new romance, and would just prefer to focus on herself and her career.
"I am just focused on my work, my craft, on bettering myself and my music. That's the most important thing for me this year," she said.
She also hopes to start anew now that it's 2019.
"Brand new start, new beginnings, new work, new relationships, new friends, new opportunities and blessings," she said.
Rumours of breakup between San Jose and Alves, who had been dating for two years, sparked in November last year when fans noticed that they have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
